Energy storage optimisation specialist Habitat Energy has signed an agreement with Octopus Energy US to optimise a 50MW/100MWh tolled battery energy storge system (BESS) in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market.

Global system integrator Fluence has been enlisted by developer Tilt Renewables for a 100MW/200MWh BESS project in Victoria, Australia, the first to deploy the full Fluence product ecosystem, it said.

Fluence has won another contract to use its bidding platform to maximise market participation for renewable energy facilities in Australia.

Fluence’s artificial intelligence-driven bidding platform will optimise large-scale wind and solar assets in Australia for Telstra Energy. 

Schneider Electric has partnered with Autogrid for a “grid management solution” that can incorporate and optimise diverse assets including customer-sited energy storage.
