SPAC Mustang Energy PLC is increasing its effective stake in CellCube to around 25% while a company launching a vanadium mine project in Australia has injected US$3.5 million in a new flow battery maker.
Flow battery companies CMBlue Energy and Redflow, both of whom have developed solutions using alternatives to vanadium, have struck commercial deals in Austria and the US, respectively.
Gone are Europe’s weekly FCR auctions, replaced by daily auctions in a move designed to create greater flexibility and improve international co-operation in these markets in Europe, writes Jean-Paul Harreman of EnAppSys.
