CATL has signed an agreement with Quinbrook to deploy over 10GWh of its EnerC Plus battery storage technology over the next five years.

A 114MW battery energy storage system (BESS) being developed by EDF Renewables UK has been granted the greenlight for development.

UK energy infrastructure development company Carlton Power has secured planning consent for a 2,080MWh battery energy storage scheme (BESS).

The UK’s battery energy storage market will grow to 24GW by the end of the decade and account for almost 9% of all global capacity installations, energy research firm Rystad Energy said.
