Australia’s national Clean Energy Finance Corporation has invested to help a 100MW/200MWh battery storage project reach financial close.

Global energy company RWE will bring a 72MW battery energy storage system (BESS) online in November in Werne, Germany, the first of two connected systems totalling 112MW, a spokesperson told Energy-Storage.news.

The sale of Dynapower by private equity firm Pfingsten to industrial sensor manufacturer Sensata Technologies has been completed.
