Form Energy has chosen a site in West Virginia, US, to manufacture its multi-day iron-air battery with a total investment of up to US$760 million.

Form Energy has raised US$450 million from investors including ArcellorMittal, bringing the startup’s total investment to US$800 million.

Multi-day battery storage tech startup Form Energy is working with Georgia Power on a potential 15MW/1,500MWh project in the US utility company’s service area. 

Form Energy has closed its Series D financing round, with investors including steel company ArcelorMittal putting US$240 million into the Boston-headquartered iron-air battery startup.
