From the Midwest to New York, local and state governments are introducing new zoning rules and restrictions on BESS and data centre projects.

Three US utilities, Ameren Missouri, DTE Energy in Michigan, and Black Hills Energy in Colorado have recently submitted IRPs with highlighted BESS project additions.
