Alevo, a US energy storage provider which only started shipping its containerised solutions in January, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Flow battery manufacturer ViZn Energy Systems has won a contract to provide a 1MWh zinc-iron flow battery to India’s majority network operator and utility Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).

Silicon valley-headquartered flow battery maker Imergy Power Systems has entered into ABC insolvency and terminated the contracts of all its staff, the company has confirmed.
