Vanadium producer Largo Inc has appointed financial advisors to undertake a “strategic review” of its downstream energy storage deployment arm Largo Clean Energy.
There has been US$150 billion of announced investments into the US’ upstream and downstream clean energy industry since the Act was passed, according to American Clean Power (ACP).
The levelised cost of electricity (LCOE) that can be achieved today for battery energy storage means that “new-build batteries can be competitive on cost with gas peaker plants,” according to BloombergNEF.
