There’s been a flurry of project completions across Europe this past week, with projects completed in Germany, Estonia, Belgium, Denmark and Bulgaria by RheinEnergie/SMA, BSP, BStor, European Energy and Sunotec respectively, totalling nearly 700MWh of capacity.

Two investor-owned utilities (IOUs) are seeking regulatory approval to acquire an under-development solar and storage project located in Waushara County, Wisconsin. 

Utility and power firm Naturgy has started building its first BESS projects in Spain, at four solar PV plants in Almeria and the Canary Islands.

Acciona Energía has submitted plans for a wind-plus-storage site featuring up to 800MWh of BESS to Australia’s EPBC Act.
