Georgia Power has secured a battery and equipment supply agreement (BESA) with Tesla for a 500MW/2,000MWh BESS portfolio made up of four projects of varying sizes under development by the investor-owned utility (IOU).

US-headquartered battery storage system integrator and manufacturer Powin has signed a multi-year, 15GWh deal for the supply of battery cells with China’s Eve Energy.

US solar and storage EPC and O&M company Borrego has entered into a master supply agreement (MSA) with Gotion High-Tech for the latter’s DC block battery energy storage equipment, starting in 2023.
