Queensland Investment Corporation has opened a formal call for proposals under the state government’s AU$200 million North West Energy Fund.

Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) and EDP Renewables Australia have signed an exclusivity agreement to develop the Punchs Creek Renewable Energy Project, a 1,600MWh solar-plus-storage project in Queensland’s Toowoomba region.

The Queensland government has announced plans to release a five-year Energy Roadmap and transferred oversight of a 20GWh PHES project.
