Tesla’s energy storage business deployed 13.7GWh in Q3 2026, its second-highest quarterly figure to date, but saw a 16% year-on-year decline in revenues for the division.

Tesla’s energy storage deployments rebounded in the second quarter of this year, but factors, including a decline in ASPs, had a significant impact on the company’s energy division’s gross margins.

Tesla reported record energy storage deployments and business segment profits in Q3 2025, just ahead of a shareholder vote on CEO Elon Musk’s historic remuneration package.  

Tesla has reported record quarterly and full-year deployment figures for its Megapack and Powerwall battery storage products in its latest financial results.
