The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) has released a whitepaper recommending the US deploy 10 million distributed solar installations and reach 700GWh of installed storage capacity by 2030.

Actions taken this month by the US government to support solar industry unlikely to come at the expense of support for energy storage.

With the US having rejoined the Paris Accord on the climate crisis last week, President Joe Biden has now signed an Executive Order which identifies the importance of mitigating risks in the supply chain for “large capacity batteries”.
