The expert judges’ difficult decisions to select winners from hundreds of worthy entries for the Energy Storage Awards 2026 are almost finalised.

We will have to wait until the November ceremony to find out who the well-deserved winners are across more than 20 categories. However, in what is becoming an Energy-Storage.news tradition, we can have a peek at the shortlist, which is now being compiled and honed into the final roll call of winners.

Now in their fourth year, the Energy Storage Awards recognise excellence and reward hard work across projects, portfolios and products, as well as deals, developers, outstanding individuals and diversity and inclusion.

Ahead of the fourth annual ceremony in London this November, the nominations window opened in late August, prompting a flood of entries. Luckily, our hand-picked panel of expert, independent judges were up to the task of evaluating each entry.
