Australia’s AGL Energy has agreed to divest 19.9% of its equity interest in Tilt Renewables to Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) and a Future Fund-led consortium for AU$750 million (US$488 million).

Australian renewable energy company Tilt Renewables has officially inaugurated its 100MW/200MWh Latrobe Valley battery energy storage system (BESS) near Morwell, Victoria.

Tilt Renewables has submitted plans for two 300MW 8-hour duration BESS co-located with a wind plant to Australia’s EPBC Act.
