Another edition of our BESS Industry Buzz, taking a look at what’s got people talking in the corridors of social media.

Our feed has been a little quieter than when we started the Buzz in late August, maybe just because that was in summer and everyone is now busy deploying projects (good!).

There’s still been some eye-catching stuff posted, particularly around data: BESS optimisation and curtailment in the UK, and revenue indexes and deal-making across Europe.

Volkswagen’s future

Should VW just stop making cars and build batteries and data centres instead? That’s a question asked by Philipp Mann, CEO of German virtual BESS tolling platform Terralayr. It’s intentionally a bit of a clickbait question, but an interesting one. See his post here.
