Western Australia will retire its two state-owned coal power plants by 2030 and invest in renewable energy and energy storage.

NTPC has launched a battery storage tender, just a few days after the Solar Energy Corporation of India began a similar solicitation process.

Two solar-plus-storage projects in Cameroon will be equipped with modular, pre-assembled generation and battery solutions from Norway-headquartered renewable energy power producer Scatec.
