ACME Solar has commissioned just over 480MWh of battery storage in Rajasthan, India, following the recent signing of several storage-backed renewable energy deals.  

Following the recent notification, the Rajasthan government will develop 500MW/2,000MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS) with a four-hour single-cycle configuration and extended operational life. 

The electricity regulator for Rajasthan, India, has approved the lowest tariff rate for a battery storage tender in the country so far.
