Paris-headquartered renewable energy power producer Voltalia has begun construction of a 32MW / 32MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in the UK.
Alfen has been awarded the contract to deliver a 10MW / 10MWh energy storage system, which will provide frequency regulation services and voltage control support in its home country of the Netherlands.
Dutch energy storage system and related technologies provider Alfen has confirmed its IPO and listing on the Amsterdam Euronext stock exchange, first announced in December 2017, will go ahead.
