Developer and operator EsVolta has secured a US$185 million senior secured credit facility for its US battery energy storage system (BESS) project pipeline.
Developer esVolta has secured tax equity financing for a 30MW/60MWh BESS in California while Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure has signed PPAs for two projects with one of the state’s utilities.
Powin Energy has just sold 116MWh of its project assets and pipeline of future developments to esVolta and made a deal which sees Powin become exclusive supplier to the latter’s projects.
