The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) has selected developer and IPP Elevate Renewables’ 600MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) for development in Ridgefield, New Jersey, US.

Duke Energy, Elevate Renewables, and Fluence Energy, along with BrightNight and Cordelio Power, are advancing BESS projects across the BESS.

Investor-owned utility (IOU) Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking regulatory approval of resource adequacy (RA) contracts covering 620MW of BESS capacity across three projects.
