The government of Queensland has published its official battery strategy as part of the Australian state’s major Energy and Jobs Plan and policies to invigorate its industries.

The UK government’s recently announced national Battery Strategy was intended as a roadmap to establishing a competitive value chain.

A national solar energy industry association has criticised the UK government’s newly-released Battery Strategy for paying “insufficient attention” to opportunities presented by battery energy storage systems (BESS).
