
Trina Solar’s International System Business Unit (ISBU), the downstream project development arm of the company, has announced the acquisition of a 40MW/80MWh BESS project from Source Galileo, a leading European renewable energy developer.
Located to the south of Aberdeen city centre in Scotland, the Rigifa BESS project is designed to deliver reliable grid support and energy storage capacity, playing a critical role in enhancing the flexibility of the UK’s renewable energy infrastructure.
