Sineng Electric, in partnership with CATL, has successfully facilitated the grid connection of a cutting-edge 200MW/400MWh energy storage power station in Ningxia Province, north-central China. Now fully operational, the project plays a crucial role in reinforcing grid stability and enhancing energy independence.
The facility, covering approximately 10 acres, utilizes 40 sets of Sineng’s advanced 5MW central PCS MV turnkey station. Each station is composed of four units of 1250kW central PCS, a low-voltage switchboard and a pad-mounted transformer. The PCS ensures uninterrupted power supply by seamlessly switching between on-grid and off-grid modes, its modular design simplifying maintenance and allowing for rapid full-unit replacement, significantly minimizing downtime and ensuring long-term operational efficiency.
In addition, with multi-layer protection design, the product can adapt to the challenging climatic conditions of the region, such as wild temperature swings, drought and sandstorms. The product also features phase-change heat dissipation technology for enhanced thermal management.
