Sineng Electric has announced the successful commissioning of a 100MW/200MWh energy storage project in China’s Shandong province, delivering significant economic, environmental and social benefits to the region.

In partnership with BYD, Sineng has supplied its 4MW and 3.45MW central PCS MV turnkey stations for the project. The PCS units feature IP65 and C5 anti-corrosion protection rating, guaranteeing durability against humidity and salt spray – ideal for such a coastal area. The products are compatible with high-capacity batteries and can achieve a maximum efficiency of up to 99%.

“We are delighted to see this important project commissioned,” commented Sineng VP Zhengmao Jiang. “It is a testament to our efforts to enhance grid resilience and stability and our collaboration with BYD has been instrumental in bringing this project to life. We look forward to continuing our partnership to drive the energy transition forward.”
