RCT Power China becomes first Zero Carbon Factory

RCT Power’s EPZ factory in China’s Jiangsu province has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the energy storage industry’s first “Zero Carbon Factory”, the facility having successfully completed all green certification procedures and officially received the Zero Carbon Factory certificate from TÜV Rheinland Greater China.

The certificate was presented by TÜV Rheinland Group’s Li Weichun, Global VP for the power electronics business segment and GM for solar and commercial products in Greater China, to RCT CEO Billy Shi.

A “Zero Carbon Factory” is a facility that achieves net-zero carbon emissions through energy-saving technologies, greenhouse gas reduction measures and carbon offsetting in the manufacturing process. RCT Power’s factory has implemented a number of energy conservation and emission reduction measures, including the use of renewable energy sources and the installation of intelligent micro-grid ESS stations.

In addition to its focus on green and sustainable practices, the company is also committed to technology innovation and product development to enhance its performance and competitiveness in the global market and will continue to promote low-carbon certification, work with strategic partners to build a green supply chain and develop more low-carbon and green energy storage solutions.
