Switzerland-based Maxxen Energy is exhibiting at this year’s Intersolar Europe, showcasing its best-in-class storage technologies, optimised for the utility scale and C&I segments.

Headquartered in Zurich, Maxxen operates through strategic hubs in Amsterdam, Istanbul and Izmir, managing its strategy, sales and after-sales support operations across Europe directly from Switzerland. The company carries out its production at a 20,000-square-meter, carbon-neutral manufacturing facility in Türkiye and plans to reach an annual capacity of over 1GWh by 2026 and 5GWh by 2029. Within the scope of a $25 million investment, it targets exporting 70% of its production and aims to become one of Europe’s major energy storage brands, the high performance and longevity of its products based on advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cell technology, modular and scalable Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and AI-supported Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Managing Director Ruben Valiente believes that Europe is undergoing an historic energy transformation, commenting: “To secure this transformation, powerful and intelligent storage systems are essential. At Maxxen, we offer scalable and high-performance solutions that support investors, grid operators, and energy traders across Europe. True leadership in the energy sector is built with innovation, trust and responsibility. We draw strength from sustainability, shaping the future with optimized technology and making this transformation accessible to everyone. We aim to become one of the key players leading the energy transition in Europe.”

The company’s comprehensive product portfolio already responds to the energy needs of the future. It develops grid-scale BESS units with a capacity of over 5MWh for large-scale renewable energy integration, and customizable behind-the-meter industrial solutions over 250kWh, which can also act as portable energy generators for off-grid applications or booster-chargers for grid-tied EV and marine charging stations.

Maxxen provides full lifecycle management services, from commissioning all the way to end-of-life, offering maintenance and warranty services throughout the entire lifespan of its solutions, exceeding 20 years. Additionally, its battery systems are designed for second-life applications, where key components such as lithium cells, control units and enclosures can be efficiently recycled, minimizing environmental impact.
