JinkoSolar has announced that it has delivered 25 units of its flagship C&I liquid cooled SunGiga ESS to the Xiaodong Dongguan project, bringing online its on-grid energy storage system.
In on-grid mode, this solar plus storage system plays a part in the regulation of the power market and the application of peak-load shifting.
With safety a key consideration for Xiaodong, the design of the ESS was an important factor in the selection process. By integrating advanced power electronics and digital technologies with a multi-layer protection scheme, SunGiga features accurate and reliable monitoring and management from battery cell level to system level.
