JinkoSolar has provided 220 sets of its flagship SunGiga C&I energy storage system (JKS-215KLAA-100PLAA) to a PV + storage project in China’s Guangdong province. Based on the company’s integrated solar plus storage solution, such projects are able to provide long-term clean electricity, enabling customers to reduce electricity costs and ensure a reliable supply, especially in summer.
Thanks to its unique liquid cooling system, equipped with intelligent and multi-level monitoring devices, the temperature difference between batteries is controlled to within 2 degrees Celsius, avoiding a barrel effect and maximizing overall charging and discharging efficiency, with an RTE yield of 94%.
Low noise is another key SunGiga advantage, with levels of less than 75dB. The system’s pre-assembled scheme saves on-site installation time and its plug-and-play and serialized design makes it simple to operate.
To increase C&I ESS installations, Guangdong province has launched a variety of initiatives, including enlarging the price difference between peak and valley time. With the continued success of SunGiga, more and more commercial and industrial customers and distributors are working with JinkoSolar to create more opportunities in the flourishing C&I energy storage sector.
