JinkoSolar has announced that it is to deliver two 20ft containerized large scale liquid cooled SunTera energy storage systems to the Abaad Contracting Company in the Middle East, with a capacity of 6.88MWh.

Jinko’s SunTera ESS features the sector’s highest energy density and safety levels, easy installation and smart O&M, and is compatible with all global energy standards, facilitating its current use at a significant number of energy storage projects worldwide.

The ESS employs advanced liquid cooling systems to regulate temperature and control the difference within 2.5 degrees Celsius during operation. As a result, it improves heat dissipation and can handle higher heat loads while maintaining lower operating temperatures. Compared to traditional air-cooled containers, liquid cooling systems can increase energy density by 100%, saving over 40% of floor space and providing approximately 30% more auxiliary energy.
