Jinko ESS has announced a collaboration with Zhejiang Jiayao Electric Engineering, signing a supply agreement to provide 26 sets of C&I energy storage systems, with a total capacity of 5.59 MWh. The project will operate under a peak-shaving and valley-filling model, which involves storing electricity during low-demand periods and releasing it during peak times, optimizing energy efficiency and reducing electricity costs.
The Jinko SunGiga energy storage system is designed to meet the high efficiency and reliability needs of commercial customers. Each system integrates an advanced Power Conversion System (PCS) and high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, ensuring long life and safety. SunGiga, designed for the mainstream market with a capacity of 215 kWh, can be used for both 2-hour and 4-hour charge and discharge applications and is pre-commissioned and pre-installed, with all parameters set before leaving the production facility, thereby reducing on-site commissioning time and ensuring early returns for project owners.
Jinko head of energy storage in China Duan Hu Zi commented:“This collaboration not only highlights JinkoSolar’s competitive edge in the commercial and industrial energy storage market but also provides Jiayao Electric Power Engineering with an efficient and reliable solution.”
