Jinko ESS has delivered and deployed 9 SunGiga G2 261kWh C&I energy storage systems at Changzhou Enterprise Port, with a total capacity of 2.35MWh. Designed to meet the daily energy needs of businesses within the industrial park, the project charges the storage systems during low-tariff periods and discharges during high-tariff periods to enable peak-valley electricity price arbitrage. The systems are also connected to the owner’s cloud platform for remote monitoring and management of operational data, supporting more cost-efficient energy management for businesses in the park.
Businesses in industrial parks typically have continuous operations and diverse electricity demands, placing comprehensive requirements on the efficiency, long-term stability, and ease of operation and maintenance of energy storage systems. The SunGiga G2 261kWh combines efficient energy conversion, precise thermal management, and intelligent O&M capabilities to support sustained peak-valley arbitrage.
Jinko ESS China GM Damon Duan commented: “For industrial parks, the value of energy storage lies not only in leveraging peak-valley electricity price differences to reduce energy costs, but also in consistently realizing that value through stable and efficient long-term operation. As C&I energy storage continues to scale, digital operation will also become increasingly important for improving the utilization and operational value of storage assets. Jinko ESS will continue to advance the integration of energy storage systems with digital energy management platforms, enabling operational data to better support energy decisions and asset management.”
