Jinko ESS has announced the expansion of its partnership with leading Polish energy solutions provider TRANS-KOL to implement a dual-track energy storage strategy aimed at reinforcing grid reliability and accelerating Poland’s transition to sustainable energy.

The collaboration includes an initial 20 MWh utility-scale energy storage project already contracted by the two parties, marking a significant step towards strengthening Poland’s renewable infrastructure. The deployment will integrate Jinko ESS G2 5.01 MWh batteries, Power Conversion Systems (PCS) and Medium Voltage (MV) Skid solutions, ensuring optimized performance and integration into existing grid frameworks. Additionally, TRANS-KOL has also recently acquired 20 units of Jinko’s SunGiga 215 solution for C&I applications, particularly for peak-shaving at electric vehicle (EV) charging points and petrol stations. These deployments will play an important role in reducing energy costs and will allow TRANS-KOL to provide power via charging points at a competitive price, enhancing grid stability and enabling a more efficient transition toward clean energy mobility.

Roberto Murgioni, Jinko GM for ESS in Europe, commented: “Jinko ESS is committed to driving innovations in sustainable energy solutions, and our partnership with TRANS-KOL underscores our ability to deliver reliable, flexible and cost-efficient storage technologies tailored for evolving market needs. We’re excited to continue expanding our footprint in Poland and across Europe, providing scalable solutions to meet the growing energy demands of grid operators and commercial sectors. The TRANS-KOL contract represents a significant milestone for Jinko ESS, reinforcing the market success of our Jinko ESS G2 battery storage solution, renowned for its modularity, reliability and exceptional cost-effectiveness in utility scale applications.”

TRANS-KOL CEO Marcin Sobczak added: “Partnering with Jinko ESS enables us to expand our clean energy impact across Poland using proven, bankable energy storage technologies that ensure reliability and long-term value. The implementation of Jinko ESS also increases the efficiency of our PV installations, which is a necessary step in developing the RES market. The flexibility of Jinko ESS G2 for grid-scale applications and SunGiga for our C&I projects allows us to enhance energy efficiency, optimize cost savings and strengthen grid stability and decarbonization. This collaboration marks a milestone in our journey to deliver next-generation energy infrastructure to the region, helping industrial players, utilities and commercial sectors to adapt to an evolving landscape. By integration of cutting-edge technology with smart energy management strategies, we are setting the stage for a cleaner, more resilient energy future in Poland and beyond.”
