JA Solar has announced the expansion of its global footprint with its inaugural shipment of 2.32MWh of commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage systems to Africa, with the first units of the “BluePlanet” liquid-cooled outdoor storage cabinet en route to the Kenyan cities of Nairobi and Kisumu.
The BluePlanet system embodies JA Solar’s innovative engineering and commitment to solving global energy challenges. With exceptional AC-side efficiency exceeding 90%, it ensures superior energy conversion and reliable performance. Its advanced liquid cooling technology maintains a temperature variation of less than 3°C between cells, enhancing reliability and extending system lifespan even in extreme climates. Additionally, the system features lightning-fast switching with a transition time of less than 20 milliseconds, enabling seamless operation across grid-connected, off-grid and generator-powered modes. This cutting-edge solution sets a new standard for resilience, adaptability and efficiency in the sector.
