EVE CMO Wendy Yu has delivered a keynote presentation to some 1,000 global energy storage leaders at the 2024 edition of the Energy Storage Summit in London. The presentation focused on the company’s ‘Mr. Big & Mr. Giant’ solutions, also discussing the industry’s future.

According to analysts, by 2030 the global cumulative installed capacity for energy storage will have reached 1,420 GWh, with large-scale development of storage power stations from 0.1 GWh to 1 GWh and then to 10 GWh becoming an inevitable trend. However, such expansion will bring with it challenges in cost efficiency, safety and operation and maintenance complexity, making the need for advanced storage technology and design more urgent.

Yu commented: “We released CTT (Cell to TWh) super-large cell technology in 2022 and launched our ‘Mr Flagship’ series products in January of this year. With its ‘ESS’ characteristics (Efficient, Simple, and Safe), the products can overcome the limitations of traditional energy storage technology, redefining the concept of ESS.”

Through a series of innovations, including proprietary chemical systems, processes and structures, EVE Energy has overcome challenges related to the energy efficiency and safety of high-capacity batteries and 5 MWh energy storage systems and empowered large-scale energy storage applications, highlighting its leadership in the field of energy storage technology.
