Desay ESS and Germany’s Greencells Group have officially entered into a strategic alliance to deliver turnkey utility-scale battery energy storage projects across Europe through a single supply chain.
Under the cooperation arrangement, Desay will provide liquid-cooled battery systems that fully integrate proprietary cell production, power electronics and energy management software, with Greencells contributing its expertise in in-house construction, engineering and procurement.
Desay’s systems incorporate what the company describes as its “Active Safety AI cell technology,” which monitors temperature and pressure inside individual cells in real time, enabling precise identification of potential safety risks at an early stage.
Senior VP and GM Jack Guo commented: “This cooperation marks the beginning of a long-term strategic relationship. We are committed to closely integrating Desay ESS’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities with Greencells’ significant EPC experience and European market presence.”
