
We caught up with the CCO of Netherlands-headquartered startup Moonwatt at last month’s Smarter E Europe trade show in Munich for a video interview.
The firm has developed a distributed battery energy storage system (BESS) solution for hybridisation with solar PV plants, with its first deployment at a site in the Netherlands recently. The BESS uses sodium-ion, sodium iron pyrophosphate (NFPP) battery cells.
