€20m grant funding for Namibia’s first grid-scale BESS from Germany’s national development bank

A grant of €20 million (US$22.66 million) has been made to Namibia’s government-owned electric utility company for the development of the African country’s first grid-scale battery storage project.

Enel X, EDF projects to show off capabilities, benefits of industrial solar-plus-storage microgrids

Commercial and industrial (C&I) microgrid projects have been awarded to Enel X and EDF Renewables North America in very different settings in the US, both using a combination of solar PV and stationary battery storage to improve air quality, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and add resilience.
