Utility and power firms Axpo and energieUri have commissioned two large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Gurtnellen, Canton Uri.

Power firm Axpo and IPP Zelestra have entered into a long-term toll for a BESS project in northern Italy, Zelestra’s second deal in July.

Axpo and e-Storage have partnered on a BESS in southern Italy, RES Group has signed a full-scope battery asset management agreement in Sweden, while R.Power has agreed to sell a Poland BESS project to Engie.

IPP R.Power has enlisted power firm Axpo to optimise a 300MW/1,200MWh BESS in Poland, one of the largest such deals seen in Continental Europe.
