Jinko ESS has announced the completion of a landmark energy storage project in the Middle East region, featuring its SunTera AC-Coupled BESS, seamlessly integrated with a 250 kW PV system powered by JinkoSolar Tiger Neo modules.

The system provides 100% of the energy required by an electric bus charging station, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted daily operations despite limited grid availability and frequent local power outages. By providing a stable and sustainable power supply, the project plays a vital role in enabling the continuous charging and operation of the electric bus fleet.

In addition to powering the bus station, surplus solar generation is supplied to the local municipality, further maximizing the project’s impact and supporting the local community with clean, renewable energy.

Funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the project represents an important step toward advancing clean mobility, enhancing energy resilience and building sustainable infrastructure in the region.
