Oil and gas firm TotalEnergies has enlisted subsidiary Saft to deploy a 25MW/75MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at a refinery in Antwerp, Belgium.

TotalEnergies will deploy a solar PV and battery storage project at Holcim’s Portland Cement plant in Colorado.

Sungrow, EVE Energy Storage and Saft were amongst the big names exhibiting new battery energy storage products at RE+ in California last week.

Oil and gas major TotalEnergies, thermal energy storage system company 1414 Degrees and six other companies have joined the Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Council.
