The first phase of a residential battery storage program in the US state of New Hampshire has met all its conditions and saved the utility “more than expected” after an initial 100 units were deployed.
There are perhaps four or five US states which have become prolific in their deployment of battery energy storage systems, but it’s also interesting to hear about what’s happening in regions where that development is still at an earlier stage.
While the likes of California, Massachusetts and New York make headlines as the leading US states for energy storage policy, initiatives from the ground up in New Hampshire, Georgia and Michigan have been announced already this year.
