‘Zinc hybrid cathode’ battery storage company Eos Energy Enterprises has signed a long-term supply and collaboration agreement with industrial chemicals group TETRA Technologies.

Emphasis has been placed once again on the importance of developing domestic battery supply chains for electric vehicles and energy storage by the administration of US President Joe Biden, with the country currently highly dependent on imports.

India’s government has agreed on a financing package that includes INR45 billion (US$603 million) of investment over five years to support the domestic development of high-efficiency PV modules.
