The Australian government has granted approval for the 1.4GWh Garoo solar-plus-storage project being pursued by Jinko Power Australia.

Developer Lightsource bp has commenced construction on a 49MW/562MWh BESS co-located at the 585MWdc Goulburn River solar plant in Australia.
