Global battery energy storage system integrator Fluence is using its intelligent bidding software solution to optimise the trading activity of a 508MWh system it recently completed for AES in California.
Utility and power company AES Corporation has brought the Lancaster Area Battery (LAB), the second portion of a combined 908MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) complex in California, online.

Energy storage technology provider Fluence and battery gigafactory startup Northvolt will collaborate to develop “next-generation battery technology for grid-scale storage applications,” the companies said today.
