As the global energy transition accelerates, energy storage systems are becoming increasingly integrated into modern power infrastructure. With growing levels of digitalization and connectivity, as well as the increasing adoption of remote monitoring and control, cybersecurity has become an essential consideration in ensuring the secure and reliable operation of energy storage assets.
IEC 62443 is a widely recognized international standards series for the cybersecurity of industrial automation and control systems. Specifically, IEC 62443-4-2 defines technical security requirements for industrial automation and control system components, covering key areas such as identification and authentication, use control, system integrity, data confidentiality, restricted data flow, timely response to events and resource availability.
By achieving this certification, Kehua Tech’s certified PCS products have demonstrated compliance with the applicable requirements of IEC 62443-4-2 within the certified scope, providing customers with independent third-party assurance of their product cybersecurity capabilities.
