Jinko ESS has announced that it has secured a 66MWh energy storage order covering four project sites in the Middle East region. The sites will utilize the company’s G2 5MWh liquid-cooled systems to support regional grid stability and renewable integration, with deliveries commencing in Q3 2025.

Designed for extreme desert conditions, the G2 system utilizes its 94% round-trip efficiency and 4-hour duration to maximize ROI for customers. The solution’s environmental protection (IP55) and a precisely controlled liquid cooling system controls the between-cells temperature difference to within ±2.5°C, as temperature non-uniformity is a primary factor behind performance loss and, more severely, the cause of fires. Jinko ESS amplifies this feature with multiple levels of protection and insulation to avoid spread in extreme conditions.

Integrated with the Jinko ESS AI-driven management cloud, the project reduces auxiliary power consumption by 20% – critical for minimizing operational costs in high-temperature environments.

“This project accelerates the region’s energy diversification,” commented Bright Wang, GM for Jinko ESS APAC. “Jinko ESS G2 technology delivers certified safety with optimized heat tolerance to support the regional clean energy transition.”
