Hoymiles has launched HoyUltra 2, its latest commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system. Designed to meet the evolving demands of clean energy deployment, HoyUltra 2 integrates PCS, battery packs, BMS (Battery Management System) and TMS (Thermal Management System) into one compact, liquid-cooled unit, delivering exceptional performance, safety and long-term reliability for C&I projects.
With a 261 kWh battery capacity per unit and support for parallel installation of up to 16 units, the system offers scalable, flexible energy storage tailored for wide-ranging scenarios, from small and medium-sized C&I setups to large industrial parks and microgrids. Whether paired with PV, integrated with EV charging stations, or used in microgrids, HoyUltra 2 empowers users to unlock higher energy efficiency while ensuring system stability.
The system’s advanced liquid cooling design improves power density by over 20% and cuts energy consumption by up to 30% when compared to a traditional air-cooling method. HoyUltra 2 also adopts a “Cloud-to-edge” EMS that features real-time monitoring, cloud-based fault alerts (<100 ms response ), automated dispatch and tariff management, enabling C&I users to maximize efficiency and reduce O&M costs.
Modular architecture and quick-disconnect terminals facilitate fast, zero-leakage maintenance, cutting O&M time by up to 60%, with capacity scalable from 125 kW to 2 MW, with 16 units in parallel in grid-tied mode and 8 units for off-grid mode.
HoyUltra 2 employs a 3-level, 6-type protection strategy, including early warning, PACK fire suppression, exhaust linkage, explosion relief, cabin suppression and water fireproofing, ensuring 24/7 risk detection and rapid prevention.
