KORE Power has edged closer to the launch of its Mark 1 battery cells after the company landed a handful of product safety certifications.

PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), has introduced a Product Qualification Programme (PQP) for energy storage, which “identifies and validates battery-based energy storage solutions for specific applications”.

HOMER Energy announced that it has been bought by global safety certification company UL, following the completion of the aquisition on 16 December.

The second draft of the US National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) energy storage system guidance on fire hazards and safe installation best practices for stakeholders has been published.
