Google has finalised its acquisition of US renewable energy developer Intersect Power, as part of its plan to power its data centre expansions in the US.
The California Energy Commission (CEC) has published an environmental impact report (EIR) for a huge 4.6GWh co-located BESS and solar project spread across 9,500 acres of land in Western Fresno County under development by US-based independent power producer (IPP) Intersect Power.Â
US solar PV and energy storage project developer Intersect Power has closed two financing deals worth US$837 million for three battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
